Removing Dog Hair from Car Seats

Dear Jan,
What's your secret for removing dog hair from car seats? I've tried vacuuming, but that doesn't get up those little short hairs from our Pug mix.
--Kathy

Dear Kathy,
Quite by accident, I discovered that an el-cheapo utility glove with a rubberized palm does the trick better than anything else I've tried. I reached in to wipe some dirt off the car seat one day while wearing these gloves and, wow, off rolled the dog hair too. Rub in one direction, using the roughest surface of the glove.

I used these same gloves to get the dog hair out of our upholstered couch and carpet in the 5th-wheel that was our home for 3 months this past winter. When you have three large dogs in that confined a space, you don't just clean your trailer, you groom it!

Even after using vacuum, glove or tape I find residual hairs still remain in the seats fabric. I have discovered that these can be readily removed by "shaving" with a razor.I use same one as wife uses on her legs.

I've tried every suggestion, gloves, rollers tape, duct tape, none of them work effectively.
