Cody on the Today Show

You may remember Cody the Dalmation, owned and trained by former Yakima/Union Gap firefighter Amy Linder. Cody delivers safety messages to kids in school, about what to do if there is a fire. He's trained to drop down, low crawl, dial 911, and go to a meeting place.
Amy and Cody now live in Eugene, Oregon, but they travel across the country as part of an emergency response team, with dogs helping to ease the emotional burden for individuals who've been caught in crises.

We hear that Cody will be featured on The Today Show on Monday, July 14. Be sure to watch! And we send our congratulations to Amy for doing such a great job with her dog (who got his start at Manning Dog Training a few years ago!)
