Horror Story: The Headless Teddy Bear

Myrna says...
This happened several years ago. Our six month old chocolate lab, Shake, ate the head of my childhood teddy bear. The bear was on a dresser where I thought it couldn't be reached. I still have the body, and think someday I might find a way to replace the head! I expect, instead, to have my children pull that teddy bear body out of the trunk where it is stored, and wonder why mom held onto this. The teddy bear is in many of my baby pictures. Quite a few years ago my mother wrapped it as a gift from Santa and put it under the Christmas tree for me.
